Joshua 21:43-45 God promised the land to the people, but it took a long time for that promise to be fulfilled. I've always focused on the disobedience aspect leading to the Israelites consequences, but the study notes in my Bible pointed out "Israels problems arose only when they committed acts of sin against God or failed to act courageously in faith " 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline."
